Aberdeen Highland Games were cancelled due to unexpected heavy rain overnight, rendering the event site and car park unsafe. The annual event, scheduled to take place at Hazlehead Park, featured Highland dancing, solo and pipe bands, tug of war, and heavy and light events. Around 10,000 spectators were expected to attend. Refunds will be arranged for ticket holders via Eventbrite.
