27-year-old Singaporean Xing was sentenced to two months in jail for assaulting two seniors, aged 69 and 64, in the Haig Road area. Xing smirked and smiled during his court charges and pleaded guilty to two counts of voluntarily causing hurt to the victims. The attacks, committed within five minutes, caused injuries to both seniors; the 64-year-old man needed stitches and the 69-year-old woman experienced pain and swelling.
