32-year-old safety Tony Jefferson, who announced his retirement in May 2023, has signed with the Los Angeles Chargers after a minicamp tryout. Jefferson, who has played for teams including Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Giants, has recorded 113 games, 492 tackles, 9.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, and four interceptions in his career. The terms of Jefferson's deal with the Chargers have not been disclosed.
