37-year-old Quebec man Pascal Tribout was arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for 3D printing firearms and posting hate speech against the Jewish community on social media platform Telegram. Tribout, from Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, was apprehended after the RCMP seized a significant quantity of 3D printers and a homemade firearm. He faces charges including weapons trafficking, willful promotion of hatred, possession of a prohibited firearm, and possession and distribution of data for manufacturing firearms with a 3D printer.
