24-year-old Harry Lock from Plymouth was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison for causing the death of mother-of-three Maria Perez-Gonzalez by dangerous driving while inhaling nitrous oxide (laughing gas) behind the wheel of his BMW. The incident occurred in Exeter on August 7th, 2021, as Lock struck Perez-Gonzalez while she was crossing Western Way on her bicycle. Upon release, Lock will face a two-year driving ban.
