31-year-old Tyler Bennett, an escaped inmate from Stephenville's West Coast Correctional Centre, is being sought by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Bay St. George. Bennett, who is 5'8", 160 lbs, and shirtless, escaped at 6 p.m. Authorities request the public not to confront him but to report any sightings to Bay St. George RCMP (709-643-2118) or Crimestoppers (1-800-222-TIPS/8477).
