A US court has ruled that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is liable for misappropriation of trade secrets, imposing a penalty of approximately $194 million on the IT company. The case was filed by Computer Sciences Corporation (now merged with DXC Technology Company) alleging misappropriation before the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. TCS plans to take necessary actions for a review or appeal, stating that the judgement would not significantly impact its financial health and operations.
