The Toronto Blue Jays have designated struggling DH Daniel Vogelbach for assignment, and recalled infielder/outfielder Addison Barger in a corresponding move. Vogelbach hit .186 with only one home run this season, while Barger, who made his major league debut earlier in the year, will be active for the game against the Cleveland Guardians. The Blue Jays' 40-man roster now stands at 38 players.
