3 rescue teams were called to Scafell Pike's Little Narrowcove for a 7.5hr rescue operation of two misnavigated walkers in misty conditions.
Wasdale MRT, Duddon & Furness MRT, and Maritime & Coastguard Agency Rescue 199 were called to Scafell Pike's Little Narrowcove at 9:37am for a rescue operation that lasted 7 hours and 50 minutes. The rescue team found two walkers who had misnavigated in misty conditions and were stuck on steep ground. After rewarming, the walkers did not require further medical assistance.
