Rabun County Sheriff Chad Nichols suspended by Governor Kemp for 60 days after arrest on sexual battery, indecency, and oath violation charges.

Rabun County Sheriff Chad Nichols has been suspended by Governor Brian Kemp following his arrest on charges of misdemeanor sexual battery, misdemeanor public indecency, and felony violation of oath by a public officer. Nichols was arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on May 31. Governor Kemp signed an executive order suspending Nichols for 60 days, effective immediately.
