Political strategist Prashant Kishor has accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of "bringing shame to Bihar" by "touching the feet" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom Kishor suggests Kumar did so to ensure his own continuance in power. Kishor made these comments during a public meeting in Bhagalpur as part of his 'Jan Suraaj' campaign. He stated that "Nitish Kumar brought shame to Bihar when he touched the feet of Modi," referring to a recent NDA meeting in Delhi.
