1 person died in a crash on Interstate 77, Richland County, SC, when a 2022 Ford F-150 pickup truck veered off the road, hit a ditch & tree. The incident occurred on Friday at 8:45 p.m. near Hardscrabble Rd, 8 miles north of Columbia. The driver, the sole occupant, was transported to Prisland Health Richland Hospital but died from their injuries. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
