Odisha CM investigates Diphtheria outbreak, directs health teams and Panchayati Raj dept for intervention in Rayagada district.

Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi directs Health dept & RMRC to investigate Diphtheria cases in Rayagada district after a death & 9 illnesses are confirmed in Manuspadar village. First 4 cases not reported, CM also orders Panchayati Raj dept to provide water & build a motorable road to the village. Health teams are conducting door-to-door screening & treatment, with antibiotics given to all susceptible individuals; situation now under control.
