Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) cancels eight express trains between Silchar and other cities of Assam for Sunday due to heavy rain and red alert in the Lumding-Badarpur Hill section. NFR authorities have yet to cancel all trains in the section, which connects south Assam, Tripura, Manipur, and Mizoram. Depending on rain intensity and track conditions, train operations will be decided for Monday onwards.
