119 Nigerian inmates escaped from Suleja Medium Security Custodial Centre in Niger State on April 24 due to heavy rain damage, breaching the perimeter fence. As of June 15, 23 inmates have been recaptured, with the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) publishing the details of 18 of them. The NCoS aims to release photos of the remaining escapees to aid in their identification and recapture.
