Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and State Bank of India (SBI) signed a MoU to enhance digital payment services for eMigrate portal, enabling Indian workers to make payments using SBIePay with no transaction charges for UPI, credit/debit cards, or NEFT through net banking of all Indian banks. The integration aims to strengthen the safe and legal migration framework for Indian migrant workers.
