Driver shot on U.S. 60 in Mesa, suspect in custody: A man was shot while driving westbound on U.S. 60 between Power and Higley roads in Mesa early Friday morning. He stopped his vehicle and called 911. Troopers responded and took the suspected shooter into custody. The injured driver is in hospital in critical but stable condition. The identity of the suspect has not been released.
