Mairtin Mac Gabhann, who campaigned for organ donation reform in Northern Ireland, has been awarded an MBE in the King's Birthday Honours list. His son Daithi's fight for a new heart inspired "Daithi's Law," which has saved lives for a year. Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell, who survived a murder attempt by dissident republicans, also received recognition. Other honourees include Bronagh Hinds, Roy Bailie, Professor Donna Fitzsimons, Clodagh Dunlop, and Lindsay Robinson for their contributions to peace, economy, healthcare, education, and mental health services in Northern Ireland.
