Langford businessman, Kyle Mostowy, received a new trial after being convicted of sexually assaulting a female employee. The B.C. Court of Appeal ruled that Mostowy received ineffective assistance from his lawyer, as the charges were not tried separately, leading to a miscarriage of justice. Mostowy had previously been sentenced to three years in jail for five counts of sexual assault against five female employees.
