Kwara State Governor releases 23 inmates, reviews lifers, and urges good behavior upon release.
Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, released 23 inmates due to improved health and behavior ahead of Eid-el Kabir. He also reviewed the cases of 18 lifers, commuting 10 sentences to 21 years and reducing a female inmate's sentence from 7 years to 6 months. The Governor visited all custodial centers, paying inmates' transport fees and urging them to be good ambassadors upon release.
