The final arch of the Buck O'Neil Bridge is set for demolition on June 18, with intermittent closures on northbound US 169 Highway. The Missouri Department of Transportation has been demolishing the old bridge in stages, while building a new bridge next to it. The Buck O'Neil Memorial Bridge, a triple arch bridge built in 1956, will be replaced by the new structure.
