Atlanta's former Coca-Cola museum, known as the World of Coca-Cola, is being demolished by Georgia's state government to make way for a new parking lot. The original museum, which housed the brand's history and allowed visitors to sample its drinks, closed in 2007 and was replaced by a newer, larger facility in Centennial Olympic Park. The demolition is part of a plan to create new parking adjacent to a state-owned event space.
