Former Zimbabwe Minister Prisca Mupfumira acquitted of $90m NSSA embezzlement charges.
Former Zimbabwe Minister Prisca Mupfumira was acquitted of charges involving the embezzlement of $90m from the National Social Security Authority (NSSA). Deputy Chief Magistrate Ngoni Nduna stated she could not be held responsible for NSSA's decisions as she was not a member of the NSSA Board. Co-accused Barnabas Matongera was also discharged. The court found no evidence linking Mupfumira to the alleged dealings with land development firm Drawcard.
