3 fathers, Andy Airey, Mike Palmer, and Tim Owen, have been awarded MBEs in the King's Birthday Honours list for their work as Three Dads Walking. They lost their daughters to suicide and raised more than £1.4m for suicide prevention charity, Papyrus, by completing a 500-mile walk. Despite being honored, the fathers express it as bittersweet, as they would trade the award to have their daughters back.
