Elliot Lake man, already wanted by police, caused disturbance on June 6; warrant issued for his arrest.
An Elliot Lake man causing a disturbance on June 6 was already wanted by police, according to the East Algoma OPP. Officers responded to a disturbance on Hirshhorn Avenue, where the man was intoxicated, yelling, swearing, and throwing things. After speaking with him, they discovered he was wanted and a warrant was out for his arrest. The man was scheduled to appear in bail court in Blind River on June 7.
