China plans to send Shenzhou-18 crew to low-Earth orbit for a 6-month stay at Tiangong space station as part of its lunar landing goal by 2030.

China is preparing to send its Shenzhou-18 crew into low-Earth orbit as part of its ambitious space program targeting a lunar landing by 2030. The three astronauts, including veteran Commander Ye Guangfu and first-time astronauts Li Cong and Li Guangsu, are set for a 6-month stay at the Tiangong space station. China built its own space station after being excluded from the International Space Station due to US concerns over Chinese military control of the program.
