2024 Calgary Stampede names Owen Crow Shoe, Alberta-born actor and Piikani Nation member, as parade marshal.
The Calgary Stampede has named Alberta-born actor Owen Crow Shoe as the 2024 parade marshal. Crow Shoe, a member of the Piikani Nation and Blood Tribe of the Blackfoot Confederacy, started his acting career in the Oscar-nominated film The Revenant as a stunt rider. The actor is proud to continue his family's tradition of participating in the Stampede since 1985 and will lead the parade in 2024.
