BC Civil Resolution Tribunal dismissed Sharon Fraser's claim for bed bug infestation damages in a shared home due to lack of evidence against homeowner Kristen Niessen.

The B.C. Civil Resolution Tribunal rejected a claim by Sharon Fraser for damages related to an alleged bed bug infestation in her shared home. Fraser claimed she had to spend $895.29 on personal items, exterminator costs, and cleaning supplies. However, Kristen Niessen, the homeowner, said she was not responsible for the bed bugs and had hired an exterminator. The tribunal found that Fraser did not provide any expert evidence to prove Niessen's responsibility for the bed bugs or that she had sustained any damages.
