Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Municipal Administration announces completion of Greenfield capital Amaravati in 2.5 years, with ₹9,000 crore spent on infrastructure.

Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Municipal Administration, P Narayana, announced that the Greenfield capital city of Amaravati will be completed in 2.5 years, as an action plan is in place. Previously, ₹48,000 crore worth of tenders were called for infrastructure development, with ₹9,000 crore already spent. Amaravati is set to become one of India's top five capital cities, according to the Minister.
