AEW wrestler Matt Sydal undergoes surgery on his right foot due to a 12-year injury.
AEW wrestler Matt Sydal, formerly known as Evan Bourne in WWE, is undergoing surgery on his right foot today. He revealed on Twitter that he has suffered from the injury for 12 years and the surgeon will break and re-fuse three bones, using hardware to set his toes into the joints. Sydal, who last wrestled on May 22nd, expressed gratitude to AEW's medical staff and fans for their support during this time.
