58-year-old Tuscaloosa woman, believed to have a medical condition, was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run on Englewood Village Drive. Paramedics were unable to save her due to severe injuries. The Tuscaloosa Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the incident, and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries or fatalities is a Class C felony.
