WBA orders Naoya Inoue to defend title against Murodjon Akhmadaliev by September 25th.
Undisputed super bantamweight champ Naoya Inoue has been ordered by the WBA to defend against mandatory challenger Murodjon Akhmadaliev. They have until July 30 to agree on a deal before a purse bid, and until September 25 to fight. Inoue, with a 27-0 record, is expected to face Akhmadaliev by September 25th, as IBF mandatory Sam Goodman is set to fight unheralded contender Chainoi Worawut.
