A man fell to his death on Tryfan mountain, Snowdonia, Wales on June 7th, and emergency services conducted a technical rope rescue for recovery.
A man fell to his death from Tryfan mountain in Snowdonia, Wales on June 7th. Emergency services including the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation, Maritime and Coastguard Agency R936, and Royal Air Force Mountain Rescue Service teams responded, but the hiker did not survive. A technical rope rescue was conducted to transport the body to a suitable location for recovery by the Coastguard.
