San Jose police arrested an armed, barricaded suspect following a tense standoff during a search warrant execution at a residence in the 3200 block of Lantern Way. The suspect was taken into custody after successful negotiations, with road closures in effect on Singleton Road between Verdi Drive and Locke Drive. No further incidents occurred, and there is currently no threat to public safety.
