Pakistan's ECC approves Rs9 billion release for OMC claims and 0.15 million metric tonnes sugar export.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of Pakistan's Cabinet has approved the release of Rs9 billion for clearing outstanding claims of Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) including PSO on account of price differential claims. The ECC also approved the export of 0.15 million metric tonnes of surplus sugar with the condition that permission to export will be revoked if sugar prices rise.
