A Pakistani court has acquitted former Prime Minister Imran Khan, his aide Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and former minister Sheikh Rashid in a case related to vandalism and violating Section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which banned rallies. The case was filed in 2022 after Khan's government was toppled in April 2022. Khan, who has been in jail since August last year, faces nearly 200 cases since his ouster.
