Overland Park firefighters rescued a man and a dog from a house fire on Friday morning. The fire, reported around 5:05 a.m., occurred in a home in the 9700 block of W. 95th Street. Both men were treated for minor-to-moderate smoke inhalation at a nearby hospital. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes, with damage limited to the upstairs bedroom and hallway.
