New South Wales (NSW) government has allocated $1.4 billion for new and upgraded schools in regional areas over four years. This includes funding for a new Hunter primary and secondary school, a Shellharbour primary school, a public primary and high school in Huntlee, set to house 20,000 people, and other projects in Googong, Medowie, Nowra, and Jindabyne. Education Minister Prue Car stated the government's commitment to delivering regional school infrastructure and providing world-class education facilities for children in regional areas.
