2017 NASCAR champion Martin Truex Jr. is reportedly planning to retire at the end of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Truex, 43, has won 34 Cup Series races and is a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series titleholder. Chase Briscoe, 29, is a leading candidate to replace Truex in the Joe Gibbs Racing lineup, as Briscoe's current team, Stewart-Haas, is set to close down at the end of the current campaign.
