Microsoft to invest €6.69bn in Spanish Aragon's data centers over 10 years, following Amazon's €15.7bn announcement.

Microsoft plans to invest €6.69bn ($7.16bn) in new data centers in Spain's Aragon region over the next decade. This follows Amazon's announcement last month to invest €15.7bn in Aragon over the same period to build data centers. The region, with its large wind power capacity and strategic location midway between Madrid and Barcelona, is emerging as a major cloud computing hub in Europe.
