Las Vegas Athletic Clubs face the requirement of having lifeguards at their pools after the Southern Nevada Health District revoked a variance that allowed pool monitoring via video camera. The Health District's decision follows an incident in which a person died in an indoor pool facility in February without a response from LVAC staff. The gym had appealed the decision, but the Health District upheld its order.
