Japanese firm TG Global Trading wins contract to supply LNG cargo to the Philippines' First Gen Corp.
Japanese firm TG Global Trading Co., a subsidiary of Tokyo Gas, has been awarded a contract by the Philippines' First Gen Corp. to supply a liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo. The 125,000 cubic meters LNG cargo will be used by First Gen's existing gas-fired power plants at the First Gen Clean Energy Complex in Batangas City, marking the fifth contract of its kind. The supply supports First Gen's efforts to strengthen the energy security of the Luzon grid and the Philippines through the utilization of LNG.
