InterGlobe Aviation receives compensation from IAE for grounded IndiGo aircraft with engine issues.

InterGlobe Aviation, parent company of IndiGo, will receive compensation from Pratt & Whitney's affiliate International Aero Engines (IAE) for grounded aircraft. Over 70 IndiGo aircraft have been grounded due to engine issues, with more than 30 due to a powder metal defect. InterGlobe Aviation finalized an amendment to the existing agreement with IAE, but did not disclose the amount of compensation.
