Indiana University Health removes noncompete clauses from primary care physician contracts from Dec. 15, following FTC's ban on such agreements.

Indiana University Health (IU Health) will drop noncompete clauses from contracts for primary care physicians starting Dec. 15. This change goes beyond the 2003 state law, as IU Health will continue to monitor and evaluate the impact on their mission to make Indiana one of the nation's healthiest states. The decision comes after the Federal Trade Commission voted to ban noncompete agreements in April.
