Zimbabwe's first new dinosaur discovery in 50 years, named Musankwa sanyatiensis, was found with connected thigh, shin, and ankle bones in Lake Kariba. The large, bipedal herbivore is only the 4th dinosaur named from Zimbabwe and the first from the mid-Zambezi Basin region. The discovery underscores Zimbabwe's potential for more dinosaur finds, filling gaps in knowledge about African dinosaur history.
