5,000 endangered sturgeons were released into the Caspian Sea during the CANSO Global ATM Summit 2024 & 28th AGM, attended by representatives from AZAL, AZANS, & CANSO. The event in Baku aimed to restore the sturgeon population in the Caspian Basin, highlighting a commitment to environmental stewardship & biodiversity conservation. Around 300 civil aviation leaders from 80+ countries focused on environmental sustainability during the summit.
