Brockton, Massachusetts unveiled a $150,000 statue of boxing legend Marvelous Marvin Hagler on Thursday at Marvelous Marvin Hagler Park on Marvelous Marvin Hagler Way. Hagler, an undisputed middleweight champion from 1980-1987, was honored with the tribute in his hometown, which is known as the "City of Champions." The statue was commissioned by Brodin Studios and funded by a $150,000 grant secured by Massachusetts state Rep. Gerry Cassidy.
