Azerbaijan held an awareness event on state guarantees for disability rights during Human Rights Month.
Awareness-raising event on "State guarantees for rights and freedoms of persons with disabilities" held as part of Human Rights Month in Azerbaijan. The event, organized by the Social Services Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, focused on the obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the new competences granted to the Ombudsman for promoting and monitoring its implementation.
