Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu approved the release of Rs 100 crore for the Chief Minister's Social Security Scheme (CMSSS), benefiting approximately 80,000 people across the state. The scheme, a state flagship programme, provides pensions for elderly persons above 60 years, widows, and divyang jan (differently-abled). The funds will help enhance the quality of life and provide a dignified way of living for the beneficiaries.
