Actors' union ACTRA ratifies a one-year deal with the Association of Canadian Advertisers, raising pay for commercial work and setting terms for on-and-off-camera performers. The National Commercial Agreement includes a 5% general pay increase for ACTRA performers and expires on May 31, 2025. The deal comes amid an ongoing labour dispute with another advertising group, the Institute of Canadian Agencies.
